By Zoila Palma: The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) continues its commitment to improving the lives of Belizeans through its ongoing housing program.
This week, MIDH provided two deserving individuals with safe and dignified homes in the Collet and Port Loyola neighborhoods of Belize City.
One recipient was assisted after her daughter’s home was destroyed by fire, a tragedy that resulted in the loss of her children and left the family in urgent need of support.
The second recipient had been living in severely deteriorated conditions, in a structure unfit for human habitation.
The Ministry continues to focus on reaching vulnerable families and restoring stability where it is needed most.
