By Zoila Palma: The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) and the Belize Police Department are partnering for safer, cleaner communities.
Over the last few weeks, the MIDH teams from the Road Maintenance Unit (RMU) have been deployed countrywide on a special mission.
MIDH joined forces with the Police Department to give police stations and compounds a major lift.
MIDH teams have been working at Placencia, Seine Bight, Pueblo Viejo, Caribbean Shores, Mahogany Station and San Estevan.
They cleared overgrown brushes and removed years of accumulated debris and tidy up the compound.
The crew have been working tirelessly to transform these essential spaces.
