By Zoila Palma:  The Ministry of Home Affairs and New Growth Industries has moved swiftly in seeking funds for the roof of the Raccoon Street Police Station which has been plagued with issues since it was constructed decades ago.

Minister Kareem Musa and CEO Sharole Carr visited the top level and offices that have been affected not only by water damage but also mold.

The Ministry noted that though estimates have been made and funds have been approved, the tendering process is not yet complete.

At the end of September, the Ministry expects approval from the Contractor General in order for construction on the roof to begin.
