The Ministry recommends that all drinking water be either boiled or treated with unscented household bleach before consumption.
These steps are essential in preventing waterborne illnesses that may arise due to contamination during flooding events.
Health officials continue to monitor the situation and are working closely with local authorities to provide support and guidance.
