By Zoila Palma: On May 12, 2025, the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MoHW) in collaboration with the Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO), launched the third cohort of the Intermediate Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) in Belize.
The Intermediate FETP course; which concludes in November, will equip participants with essential skills in areas of surveillance, outbreak investigation, data analysis, and risk communication, critical in detecting and responding to public health threats.
The Ministry expressed gratitude for the continued partnership to have this training program.
