By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Ministry of Health and Wellness along with the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) is conducting meetings and trainings with partners in Tourism, mainly the Ministry of Tourism and Diaspora Relations and the Belize Tourism Board to advance the implementation of the Tourism and Health Program for Belize.
On December 4, 2023, a high-level meeting was held at the Belize Tourism Board (BTB) conference room headed by CARPHA representatives to review and update the Belize team on the program and discuss specific action plans.
Minister of Health and Wellness, Kevin Bernard stopped in to greet the team and extend support and share his commitment for the implementation of the program.
