By Zoila Palma: On February 6, 2025, the Ministry of Health and Wellness partnered with the Belize Cancer Society and PAHO to provide information and services at its Empowering Women and Girls Cercival Cancer Awareness forum, HPV testing & Vaccination Initiative.
In his keynote address during the official opening ceremony, Minister of Health & Wellness, Kevin Bernard reiterated the commitment of the Government of Belize to accelerate the elimination of cervical cancer as the public health problem.
The Ministry encourages the public to reach out to health facilities countrywide for more information and services for cervical cancer and other cancers.
