Ministry of Education officials tour site for new Government schools in San Pedro and Caye Caulker 

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Recently, the Project Execution Unit of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology visited the site for the proposed San Pedro Government Pre-primary, Primary and Secondary School and the site for the proposed Caye Caulker Government Pre-primary and Secondary School.

The team was led by Ingrid Acosta, Senior Project Coordinator and included Shakira Sharp and Francisco Gonzalez.

They were joined by a team from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) who are on an administrative mission in Belize as the Ministry relaunches BESRP II (Belize Education Sector Reform Programme II). 

On the ground on Ambergris Caye were Executive Chairman, Cornelio Acosta and BWS Board Director, Ashton Longsworth to discuss strategies to provide water and sewage services to the school and north of San Pedro.
