By Zoila Palma: On November 6, 2025, Ramon Cervantes, Minister of State in the Ministry of Education, Science & Technology accompanied by Minister Thea Garcia-Ramirez, and Mayor of Corozal Town- Rigoberto Vellos, on behalf of the MOEST, handed over 764 Chrome Books to the students of Corozal Community College.
“This is part of a nationwide initiative to ensure students have access & the necessary support to the best quality education,” Minister Ramirez said.
The project is made possible through joint collaboration between MOEST, Government of Belize, Inter-American Development Bank, & Global Partnership for Education.
