By Zoila Palma: Today, the Ministry of Economic Transformation (MET) met with representative of the European Union Technical Support Office in Belize for a technical coordination meeting focused on strengthening ongoing cooperation and advancing shared development priorities.
The meeting reaffirmed the strong partnership between the Government of Belize and the European Union.
Discussions included collaboration across a range of priority areas, including support to national development and climate-related initiatives, coordination on upcoming development programmes, and progress on infrastructure, energy, and resilience-focused investments.
Updates were also shared on regional and community-level initiatives, upcoming EU-supported activities, and continued coordination among implementing partners to ensure effective delivery of results.
The Ministry of Economic Transformation expressed appreciation for the European Union’s continued technical and financial support and underscored the importance of sustained dialogue and partnership.
