Ministry of Agriculture to celebrate World Food Day 2024 on October 18

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security, and Enterprise (MAFSE) will join the global celebration of World Food Day 2024 on Friday, October 18. The Agriculture Ministry has posted an open invitation on social media for their celebration at the Central Farm Research and Development Station in the Cayo District, on the 18^th starting at 9:00 a.m.

This year’s theme, “The Right to Food for a Better Life and a Better Future – Leave No One Behind,” emphasizes the importance of food security and agriculture in ensuring a sustainable future for all. The Ministry aims to raise awareness about these critical issues and encourage collective action to build a world where everyone has access to nutritious food.

World Food Day is a significant occasion that highlights the essential role of agriculture in our society. The Ministry of Agriculture encourages everyone to participate in this event and contribute to the global movement towards food security and sustainability.

MAFSE invites Belizeans to join them in celebrating World Food Day 2024 and to be part of the effort to ensure that no one is left behind in the quest for a better life and a better future.
