By Zoila Palma: Today, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Enterprise (MAFSE), in collaboration with the University of Belize, presented a scholarship award to Dorian Sosa at a ceremony held at the Central Farm Campus.
Minister of Agriculture Jose Abelardo Mai delivered the keynote address, emphasizing the Ministry’s commitment to supporting the development of future agricultural leaders.
Dr. Vincent Palacio, President of the University of Belize participated in the award ceremony.
Together, Minister Mai and Dr. Palacio formally presented the scholarship award to Sosa, symbolizing the strong partnership between the Ministry and the University in building the next generation of agricultural leaders.
The Ministry congratulated Sosa and reaffirmed its dedication to providing opportunities for students who demonstrate academic excellence and interest in agriculture, ensuring a stronger, more resilient agricultural sector for Belize.
