By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security, and Enterprise (MAFSE) concludes its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Friday at the Heritage Building Conference Room in Spanish Lookout in the Cayo District.

The 2024 AGM, which started on Thursday, August 8, provides MAFSE the opportunity to share insights, achievements, and plans.

MAFSE said the annual AGM is a key event where the Ministry and its statutory bodies present their 2023 accomplishments and outline their expectations for 2024/2025.

“The success of the AGM is a testament to the collaborative spirit and dedication of all our partners in development,” said the invitation to the participants, which includes MAFSE officers and representatives from collaborating organizations and stakeholders of the three-pronged ministry.

“We look forward to continued collaboration as we strive to achieve our collective goals in agriculture, food security, and enterprise development.”

MAFSE said that on Day 1, the presenters made a comprehensive overview of the initiatives, challenges, and successes from the past year. Additionally, the Ministry shared “its strategic plans and goals for the upcoming period, ensuring transparency and alignment with national agricultural priorities.”

“Day 2 of the AGM will focus on the contributions of our partners in development. Various organizations involved in the agriculture sector will present their highlights and plans of action for the coming year,” MAFSE said in a statement posted on social media on Thursday.

“Each partner will showcase their achievements, share innovative projects, and outline their contributions and future plans aimed at advancing the agriculture sector.”
