By Zoila Palma: The Ministers of Defence and Home Affairs of Belize met today with their counterparts in Guatemala to discuss ongoing cooperation.
The session was formally opened by Guatemala’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, who welcomed the delegations and underscored the importance of maintaining constructive dialogue.
Delivering opening remarks on behalf of Belize was Chief Executive Officer in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Amalia Mai.
The meeting forms part of continued efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and address shared security and defense concerns.
