By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, Minister of National Security and Border Defence, Florencio Marin and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Francis Fonseca visited the Sarstoon Forward Operating Base (FOB) in Southern Belize.
The ministers were accompanied by their CEOs.
This trip marks Minister Fonseca’s first visit to the FOB since assuming the portfolio for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade.
The trip served as an opportunity to brief the minister on operations, developments, and future plans for this important FOB.
To wrap up the visit, there was a symbolic ribbon-cutting to inaugurate the newly renovated accommodations and conference room at the Sarstoon Forward Operating Base.
