“We are pleased to announce that, effective November 1, 2026, Maya Island Air will begin providing flight services to and from Punta Gorda!

I simply have one plea to all: Let us support Maya Island Air. It is now our collective responsibility to ensure that this service succeeds and remains available to our people for years to come,” Martinez said.
Martinez expressed gratitude to Prime Minister John Briceno, the cabinet, CEO Narda Garcia and the BAA for acting swiftly to ensure that the voices of Toledo residents are heard.
“I would also like to personally thank Tropic Air for the services it has provided to the residents of this beautiful district over the years.
We will continue working hard every day to address the concerns of our people, one project at a time,” Martinez added.
