By Zoila Palma: Santa Elena Town came alive last night with the festive lighting of its Christmas tree, officially ushering in the holiday season for residents and visitors alike.
The initiative was made possible through a collaboration between Minister Alex Balona, Area Representative for Cayo Central; Town Councillor Aaron Mai; the Rotary Club and Owen Flowers who worked together to bring the seasonal celebration to life.
Councilor Mai expressed gratitude to everyone for their support and reminded that Christ is the reason for the season.
Mai also thanked the Cayo Central executive for their commitment and dedication.
The evening also featured a lively night market, where vendors offered a variety of delicious foods and treats, adding to the warm and joyful atmosphere enjoyed by families and community members throughout the town.
