By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Conservationists from Ya’axché Conservation Trust participated in a 2-day Empathy for Wildlife Workshop at The Belize Zoo & Tropical Education Center.
The workshop focused on environmental education through an empathy action planning and socialization of best practices.
The session included scientific storytelling, empathy evaluation and sharing experiences in environmental outreach efforts among conservation partners.
The workshop was facilitated by Milwaukee County Zoo through their Pat Gives Back Program, whom have been a long-term conservation partner.
