Megabingo pays out $541,375 progressive jackpot winner to Cayo District resident

By Aaron Humes: The half-million Belize dollar Megabingo progressive jackpot belongs to a Mr Arzu of the Cayo District.

He collected $541,375 (before taxes) today at the offices of J.D. Financial Limited in Belize City, having locked in all 25 numbers of his bingo ticket in Saturday’s draw.

He told reporters that he buys twice a week and has done so for sometime. He plans to use the money to finish his house on the beach side in the village of Barranco, Toledo District, and outfit his boat.

The jackpot restarts for tonight’s draw at $100,000. Smaller prizes are available based on patterns in the game.
