The Museum of History, Anthropology and Art [Museo de Historia, Antropología y Arte (MHAA)] at the University of Puerto Rico-Río Piedras, announced a series entitled “Conoce a los artistas” [Meet the Artists”]—a series of conversations among selected artists. These conversations explore the artist-as-donor and offer an approach to their donated works in the context of the exhibition “24 Years of Donations to the Museum.” The conversations are free and open to the public. They will be held in
Martín García, Anna Nicholson, and Rafael Trelles will be in conversation on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 7:00pm at the MHAA’s exhibition hall (parking available behind the building).
The next conversation will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, 1:30pm, featuring Poli Marichal, Lionel Ortiz Melendez and Luis Abraham.
