By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Residents in Santa Elena Town called out the UDP for reportedly placing a sign at the Santa Elena roundabout that says “Welcome to UDP Country. Thank you for voting UDP.”
Mayor of San Ignacio and Santa Elena Earl Trapp swiftly responded saying that he has asked BEL to remove the sign.
“My humble apologies with respect to this sign being installed at the roundabout. I have already asked BEL to remove it. Thank you for understanding,” Trapp said.
