Mathematics Day highlights significance of Math in today’s society

UNESCO highlighted the importance that math plays in shaping the future and the significance of math in our society.

“Greater global awareness of mathematical sciences are vital to addressing challenges in areas such as artificial intelligence, climate change, energy and sustainable development, and to improving the quality of life in both the developed and the developing worlds,” UNESCO noted.

Math inspire artists and musicians with perspective symmetries, tilings, fractals, geometric curves, surfaces and shapes, patterns and scales in music.

UNESCO reminds that math is all around us and is present everywhere in science and technologies.
