Marcus Rashford has been disciplined internally by Erik ten Hag after the Manchester United forward reported ill for training on Friday after allegedly being out partying in Belfast on Thursday into the early hours.
United released a statement on Monday night saying the incident “has been dealt with as an internal disciplinary matter” as a report in the Sun newspaper claimed the England player had been out drinking for 12 hours on Thursday before getting a private jet back to Manchester early in the morning and missing training.
