Man suffers chop wound to temple in Santa Rosa, Stann Creek

By Aaron Humes: A Stann Creek District man was found chopped to the left side of the head on Sunday morning.

23-year-old Lucas Oh, a construction worker of Santa Rosa Village, was brought to Independence Polyclinic by his father. He has since been transferred to the Southern Regional Hospital in Dangriga and is stable.

Initial investigation by police revealed that at about 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, he was walking on Maya Street in Santa Rosa Village, Stann Creek District when he was attacked by two men, one of whom caused a chop wound on the left side of his temple.

Police have detained three persons and are looking for a fourth.
