By Aaron Humes: A 23-year-old man was shot in his home on Faber’s Road Extension, Belize City, on Tuesday night, March 3. Kaylen Thompson, a construction worker, was hit by several gunshots fired through the door of his apartment around 9:45pm.
Thompson, who lives with his common-law wife, was taken to Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for treatment. The motive behind the shooting is unclear.
The police investigation is ongoing. The suspect remains at large, and investigators are urging anyone with information to come forward.
