By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating a reported robbery at a Belize City hotel.
The complainant told police he accompanied a young woman known to him as “KIV” or “Kim from Southside” to a hotel room on Dolphin Drive on Monday night.
They spent time together and he went to the bathroom around 11:30 p.m. When he came back out he found the young lady gone – as well as his iPhone 12 Plus valued at $2,000 and $1,700 cash missing from his bag.
“Kim” is described as slim, dark-skinned, with shoulder-length hair, and about 22 to 24 years old.
Police have obtained surveillance camera footage and their investigations continue.
