Man out on $10,000 bail for illegal firearms returns to court

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Brandon Vaughan Gillett, who is out on $10,000 bail for firearm offenses, made his first appearance in court on Wednesday since being granted bail after spending 7 days on remand in prison.

Gillett appeared in court but his case was adjourned until February 28. Gillett was arraigned on December 22, and was remanded to prison for seven days before he was able to make bail of $10,000.

According to reports, on December 21, a search warrant was executed for his Los Lagos home where police found a Glock pistol and a .223 rifle, which he did not have any licenses for.
