By Breaking Belize News Staff: Oscar Itch was indicted in the High Court on ten counts of forgery of an official document on Friday.
Unrepresented, Itch appeared before Justice Candace Nanton where he was formally read the charges. Prosecutors allege that between February 24, 2019 and December 20, 2020, in Cayo, Itch forged official firearm licence approval letters with the intent to defeat the execution of the law. The documents allegedly caused others to believe they had been legitimately issued by the Commissioner of Police (COMPOL).
Itch pleaded not guilty to all ten counts.
The matter was adjourned to April 23, 2026 for a Case Management Conference (CMC). His existing bail was extended.
