By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): A 29-year-old resident of San Estevan Village, Orange Walk, has filed an official report following a disturbing incident involving a man known to her as “Cheto.”

The complainant told police that at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, an intoxicated male arrived in front of her residence on a motorcycle. According to the report, the man stood in the middle of the road and began shouting that he is “the devil” and directed specific threats toward her common-law partner, who is a police officer.

The suspect reportedly yelled that the officer had “messed around with the wrong person.” It is believed the hostility stems from a prior incident where the officer had arrested the individual.

The suspect fled the scene on his motorcycle as soon as the police were called. While officers conducted a search of the area, they were unable to locate the man. The investigation remains open.
