By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Police are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred this morning in San Ignacio Town.
Reports indicate that shortly after 6:00 a.m., gunshots rang out near Nazarene Primary School, leaving a man and a woman dead.
Officials have since identified both victims, while residents in the area reported hearing multiple gunshots before emergency responders arrived on the scene.
An ambulance was later seen arriving at the location as police processed the area and gathered information.
Investigations into the shooting remain ongoing.
