By Breaking Belize News Staff: Malachi Shahan Michael Vernon has been formally arrested and charged for allegedly keeping a firearm and ammunition without a gun license.
Police say Vernon was arrested and charged on Friday, July 3, 2026, for the offences of “kept firearm without a gun license” and “kept ammunition without a gun license.”
Vernon was cautioned following the charges and reportedly chose to remain silent.
He is scheduled to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on Monday, July 6, 2026, to answer to the charges.
