By Breaking Belize News Staff: Cabinet is meeting today and according to sources, 5 major government portfolios are reportedly under review with possible ministerial shifts expected in the coming days.
While official confirmation is pending, sources indicate that significant changes could be announced once the Cabinet Brief is released by the Office of the Prime Minister.
Sources say changes could include Ministry of Home Affairs that could be reassigned to Minister Henry Charles Usher. Meanwhile, Minister Oscar Requena is reportedly set to lose the education portfolio.
In addition to Requena and Usher, other ministers who may see adjustments to their responsibilities include Agriculture Minister Abelardo Mai, Deputy Prime Minister Florencio Marin Jr., and Minister Kareem Musa.
