By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security, and Enterprise (MAFSE) has extended its appreciation to everyone who participated in World Food Day 2024 on Friday, October 18 at the Central Farm Research Station. The event was marked by outstanding success, thanks to the enthusiastic participation of attendees, MAFSE said.
“Your participation made this year’s celebration an outstanding success,” MAFSE stated.
The Ministry expressed special thanks to its sponsors, including Caribbean Chicken, The Wood Stop, Taiwan ICDF, the Police Department (Mrs. Grinage and staff), the Transport Department (Mr. Moh and staff), OIRSA, BMDC, CARDI, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), and the World Food Programme. Their support was instrumental in making the event possible.
The Ministry also acknowledged the contributions of various organizations that set up booths, sharing valuable information, products, and services.
MAFSE also thanked the schools, farmers, and its agriculture departments and units who attended and participated saying their enthusiasm and engagement were vital.
“World Food Day 2024 was a resounding success, and it was all possible because of you,” the Ministry noted.
“We look forward to another incredible celebration next year! Thank you and see you at World Food Day 2025!”
