By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating the apparent murder of Patrick Josh Uh of Lords’ Bank, Belize District, whose body was found lying in the freight truck parking lot of New Moon Supermarket at Mile 10, Philip Goldson Highway, in Ladyville, Belize District, on Sunday afternoon.
According to police, the security guard at New Moon told them he was approached by a Hispanic man, other particulars unknown, who informed him that he saw a man’s body in the parking lot and left, saying he didn’t want anything else to do with the matter.
Police responded and found Uh’s body lying face up on a wooden pallet, showing apparent stab wounds to the body and the likely weapon, a black-handled knife with broken silver metal blade beneath the palm of his left hand.
The body was identified and transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital and police investigations are underway.
