By Breaking Belize News Staff: A 38-year-old electrician of the Lords Bank area is out on bail after pleading not guilty to a drug charge involving nearly five pounds of marijuana.
Eugene Webster, a Lords Bank resident, appeared unrepresented before a Senior Magistrate in Court #2, where he was charged with possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply.
Police allege that Webster was found in possession of 4.85 pounds of marijuana during an operation carried out on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. Webster denied the allegation when the charge was read.
Bail was granted in the sum of $2,000 with one surety of the same amount, which Webster was able to meet. As part of his bail conditions, he is required to report to a police station twice weekly.
Webster is due to return to court on February 19, 2026.
