By Aaron Humes: A man who claims he came into the city to meet a Minister found himself in big trouble with the law after he was caught smoking cannabis in public in Freetown Road, Belize City.
30-year-old, Ledwin Dixon Jr admitted smoking half a ‘bamboo’ on Monday, November 25 – in fact, he was actually blowing the smoke from his mouth while on his way home when police caught him.
Dixon pleaded guilty and was fined $250 and cost of court due by January 30, 2025, in default three months imprisoned.
