By Zoila Palma: Today, Leader of the Opposition Tracy Panton is urging all supporters to tune in to day two of the National Debate on the General Appropriation of Bill for FY 2025/2026 aka the Budget.
“The Hon Lee Mark Chang, our Party Whip, will be making his contributions for the Opposition. He will carefully analyze the revenue and expenditure estimates for some of our key line ministries. So please tune in,” Panton said.
“I wish to once again sincerely thank everyone who reached out to me yesterday. Without question, the silver lining in my moment of vulnerability is the overwhelming outpouring of love, prayers, genuine support and concern from so many Belizeans both here at home and abroad,” Panton added.
Panton said that the party though small in number “remains steadfast in our resolve to speak truth-to-power and in our determination to offer an alternative path; one grounded in honesty, equity and service to ALL Belizeans.”
