By Zoila Palma: Today, Leader of the Opposition Tracy Panton issued a statement thanking all those who participated in their caretaker conventions.
“Now that we have concluded the Caretaker Conventions, we move forward with purpose and determination toward our UDP Leadership Convention on November 30, 2025.
I wish to extend heartfelt thanks to all those who offered themselves to serve the Party in the capacity of Caretaker. Your active participation and continued involvement in our collective effort to rebuild the Party are both welcomed and necessary. We are indeed Stronger Together. United, we can guard against the injustices that now prevail and do the work required to become the next Government whenever the General Elections are called,” Panton said.
Panton says that “there is room under the UDP Tent for ALL of us!”
Panton thanked all UDP supporters for their commitment, energy, and love.
“The work of rebuilding is a Herculean task, but it is not an impossible one. We have the strength and the will to regain the trust and confidence of the Belizean people,” Panton added.
Panton called on all UDP supporters to “get to rebuilding: brick by brick. Let the work ahead be our labour of love for Belize. Be assured, our Leadership Matters. Let us remain United for the Change we all so desperately seek.”
