By Breaking Belize News Staff: Today, Leader of the Opposition Tracy Panton called for “a change at the BPD High Command!”
Panton issued a statement following a wave of gun violence affecting Belize.
“Belize is under siege by gun violence. Three separate shootings in one night. Multiple families shattered. Entire communities living in fear. This is a national crisis.
Belizeans are tired of the bloodshed, tired of the excuses, and tired of leadership that reacts only after lives are lost,” Panton said.
Panton called on the Government of Belize to act with urgency before more families are forced to bury their loved ones.
