Leader of Opposition announces dates for Budget reading, debate

By Aaron Humes: Leader of the Opposition Tracy Taegar-Panton has announced to constituents that following Friday’s inaugural session of the National Assembly in Belmopan, the first item on the agenda will be the annual Budget.

“The presentation of this year’s budget estimates is scheduled for Monday, 12th May 2025 and the Budget Debate in the HoR on the 26th, 27th, 28th of May 2025,” Taegar-Panton wrote to constituents this morning on social media.  

Concerning the division itself, the regular office schedule resumes on Tuesday with the office open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. 

“If you need to see us outside of this schedule, we can arrange to meet you at a mutually convenient time…Please be assured that the Albert ACTION Committee, the Albert CARE Team and I are fully committed to representing you, being your voice and listening to your concerns during this term of office. One LoVe!,” wrote the area representative who was recently elected for a third term.
