By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Benque House of Culture in Benque Viejo del Carmen is set to host an exciting new initiative: USpace Benque. This community-driven hub for creativity, digital skills, and innovation will officially launch on Thursday, February 6 at 3:00 pm.
USpace Benque is the result of a collaboration between the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology (MoECST), the National Institute of Culture and History (NICH), the Belize National Library Service, and UNICEF Belize. According to the Benque House of Culture, this innovative space will offer the community an opportunity to experiment, create, and explore technology and culture in a supportive and dynamic environment.
The launch event promises to be a significant milestone for the community, providing residents and visitors alike with a chance to witness the potential of this new space. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with various activities and programs designed to foster creativity and digital literacy.
‘Join us for the launch of USpace Benque—a hub for creativity, digital skills, and innovation!” the Benque House of Culture said in a social media post. The event will take place at the Benque House of Culture, and all are encouraged to be part of this groundbreaking moment.
