By Aaron Humes: Michael Usher, 33, of Pinks Alley, Belize City, was this evening found lying on the right side of Flamboyant Street in front of Glad-View Apartments with apparent gunshot injuries to the upper body.
According to a police report, initial investigations revealed that at about 7:50 pm Usher was walking on Flamboyant Street towards Mahogany Street when an unknown assailant approached him from behind and fired several shots causing fatal injuries.
Michael Usher was transported to the KHMH by BERT ambulance but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police continue their investigations.
