By Aaron Humes: Early this morning, Friday, a mother in her early 30s, identified as Delecia Flowers, was found murdered in her home on Complex Street.
Police responded to reports of violence at the residence and discovered Flowers’ lifeless body with signs of severe beating. The investigation is ongoing, and police have not yet identified a motive for the crime, or confirmed whether any suspects are in custody.
Flowers’ teenage daughter was also injured during the attack and has been transported to the hospital for medical treatment. Details regarding her condition have not been released.
Investigations continue, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward to assist in bringing justice for Delecia Flowers and her daughter.
