Ladyville police charge two motorists with multiple traffic offences

By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Police have arrested and charged two motorists in separate incidents in Ladyville for multiple traffic-related offences following investigations conducted on December 11.

In the first case, a 43-year-old technician was charged with four offences, including driving a motor vehicle without due care and attention, driving with an alcohol concentration above the prescribed limit, driving a vehicle not covered by third-party insurance, and using an unlicensed motor vehicle.

Police bail was granted after a surety signed on his behalf. He is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, December 17, 2025.

In a second, unrelated case, a 24-year-old call agent was arrested and charged with five offences. These include driving without due care and attention, driving without third-party insurance, failing to give way while changing direction, failing to stop and render aid, and driving without holding a valid Belize driver’s license.

Police bail was also granted in this matter, and the accused is expected to appear in court on the same date.
