Labour Day ‘John Doe’ still unidentified: police

By Aaron Humes: Police continue to wait for tips on the identification of a body found in the waters of the Haulover Creek on Friday.

As detailed by ACP Hilberto Romero of National Crimes Investigations Branch: “On Friday, May 1, police responded to a report that a body was found in the water by the San Pedro Express water taxi. The body was retrieved of a male person in thirties; his height is 5’6″, he is of Kriol descent. We are seeking public assistance in identifying this person. So far, no missing persons have been identified.”

ACP Romero noted that the deceased “had minor bruising to the face. We are awaiting a post-mortem examination to determine his cause of death.”
