By Aaron Humes: Early on Sunday morning, 29-year-old Kevan Hamilton narrowly escaped death after being ambushed by two gunmen while riding his motorcycle on T Street. The attack occurred just before 3 a.m., leaving Hamilton with gunshot wounds.
According to police reports, Hamilton was riding through the area when the assailants opened fire, striking him. Despite being injured, he managed to transport himself to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH), where he is currently receiving treatment and is reported to be in stable condition.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Hilberto Romero, who heads the National Crimes Investigation Branch, confirmed the details of the incident and indicated that investigations are ongoing. “We are in search of the shooters, but at this time, there are no suspects identified,” he stated. “It remains unclear if this attack is linked to gang activity.”
