By Breaking Belize News Staff: 29-year-old Jeremy Johnson from Maskall Village has been granted bail after being arraigned on a charge of robbery at the Belize City Magistrate’s Court late Monday evening. Johnson is accused of stealing $45 in cash from Milton Reyes on December 13, 2024, by use of force.

At his arraignment, Johnson initially pleaded guilty with an explanation, denying the robbery and claiming he did not commit the offense. Due to his disagreement with the police allegations, the court entered an equivocal plea of not guilty on his behalf.

Johnson was granted bail under the condition that he attends all scheduled court dates and refrains from being arrested or charged with any other offenses while out on bail. His next court appearance is set for February 2025.
