Jane Urbina to be laid to rest on Saturday in Santa Elena

Family, friends, and community members will gather in Santa Elena, Cayo, to bid a final farewell to Jane Violet Urbina and her unborn baby, whose lives were tragically cut short on June 20, 2026.

Jane is being remembered as a vibrant and kind-hearted young woman whose warmth, laughter, and caring spirit touched the lives of many. Loved ones say she was eagerly looking forward to becoming a mother and was filled with hope and excitement as she prepared to welcome her baby into the world.

The tragic loss has left relatives, friends, and residents across the Cayo District mourning.

 Jane is survived by her mother, Donicia Elena Urbina; her brother, Lionel Rodolfo Urbina; sisters, Lionelly Noelly Urbina and Genesis Miracle Urbina; her common-law husband, Justin Reyes; and numerous other relatives and friends who continue to grieve her passing.

A wake will be held at the family residence in the Santa Cruz Area, Santa Elena, Cayo, on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 12:00 noon at the Carmen Requena Memorial Cemetery, Santa Elena, Cayo.

Family members have requested that attendees wear light blue and white, Jane’s favorite colors, as they celebrate her life and cherish the memories she leaves behind.
