By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Jaheem Lewis from the Valvoline Cycling Team emerged victorious in the Junior Youth Category of the 2nd Annual Pre-New Year’s Day Cycling Race. Held on Sunday, December 22, 2024, the race took cyclists on a challenging route from Orange Walk to Belize City.
Lewis secured first place in the Junior Youth Category, earning a cash prize of $100.00. His performance demonstrated his talent and competitiveness among his peers.
Lewis was eight overall in the general classification that included Elite, Masters, and Junior riders
The race results for the Junior Youth Category are as follows:
- Jaheem Lewis (Valvoline Cycling Team) – M/Youth – $100.00 Cash
- Devyn Major (G-Flow Cycling Team) – M/Youth – $75.00 Cash
- Keith Enwright Jr. (Valvoline Cycling Team) – M/Youth – $50.00 Cash
