Contributed by Renee Guerra: I am deeply disturbed and furious after seeing the video. It was painful to watch, and I honestly wish I hadn’t seen it, but I did.
There was no reason—no justification—for that level of cruelty. That poor animal did nothing to deserve that. It’s not just heartbreaking, it’s a sin. We must never normalize this kind of behavior.
I’m glad the authorities have taken them into custody, but I hope real action is taken. They need serious consequences—not just for justice, but to send a clear message that this kind of cruelty will not be tolerated. Animals feel pain just like we do. They trust us, and what I saw in that video was betrayal in its purest form.
This wasn’t a joke. It wasn’t a game. It was evil, and I pray that these monsters are held fully accountable.
